Fashion Design Grad Profiled in Daily Pilot

Newport Beach, California-based purse designer Brenda Ziegler is profiled in the Daily Pilot. The Fashion Design Graduate was inspired by the Hawaiian islands, where she lived for a time, Catalina Island, and Santa Barbara when she began creating a line of colorful bags featuring original patterns.

The Brenda Kristine line features contrasting zippers and embellishments launched her e-commerce site last year and has since added leather goods, bucket bags, and home decor items. Prior to designing bags, she designed and sewed slipcovers and pillows for 25 years.

"I love fabric and I love anything tropical, beachy, vintage and fun," Ziegler said.
